Headquarters Allied Air Command (HQ AIRCOM) have recently
contracted SyntheSys to provide a 15 day Multi TDL Data Link Manager
(DLM)/Interface Control Officer (ICO) training course. The course will be held
at CAOC Uedem, Germany in June 2014. Participating students will be drawn from HQ
AIRCOM, CAOCs Uedem and Torrejon, NATO DARS Deployable
Air Command and Control Capability (DACCC) and national units. The
students will come from 6 different nations - Italy, Norway, USA, Turkey, The
Netherlands and Denmark. The training, which is based on proven NATO procedures,
will encompass the disciplines necessary to ensure the smooth and efficient
running of the multi TDL environment. Theoretical lessons will be
reinforced with exercises, and the use of simulation, to bring the learning to
