Issue 9 of SyntheSys’ TDL Technology Magazine Available Now

Read the latest issue of our TDL Technology magazine to gain insight, best practice and knowledge around current and future Tactical Data Link (TDL) sustainment and development.

In this latest issue, we feature an article from Viasat which explores the Link 16 evolution and Viasat’s proactive approach to improving vital warfighters.  We compliment this with the third in the ‘Demystifier’ series which tackles the development of TDLs by giving a chronologically ordered comparison of four major TDL systems – Link 11A, Multifunctional Information Distribution System (MIDS) Link 16, Variable Message Format (VMF) and Link 22.

We offer a copy of our updated TDL Comparison Table which now incorporates MIDS Block Upgrade 2/Joint Tactical Radio System (BU2/JTRS) Link 16 information and we continue to use the magazine to share industry news, which can be found in our news digest on Page 10.

A Message from our Managing Director: Welcome to SyntheSys Technologies

In direct response to the increased demand for our systems engineering services, I am delighted to announce that we have recently undergone a restructure as part of a strategic shift to consolidate and extend our systems engineering business.  The restructure sees the merging of the former SyntheSys Direct and SyntheSys Systems Engineering companies to form ‘SyntheSys Technologies’.

SyntheSys Technologies is led by Mark Williamson and provides systems engineering services, products and training across a variety of industry sectors and now handles all licensing, transactional and technical matters connected with engineering services and software sales.

In this exciting time of expansion, I would also like to introduce our new SyntheSys Technologies Client Engagement Team who will ensure that the service we deliver to our customers is of the highest quality.  The Client Engagement Team will assist our customers with our products and services and will deal with all customer enquiries.

The team comprises a mixture of highly experienced technical, business development and administration staff working together to ease pains whilst creating gains for customers.  I am confident the new Client Engagement Team will make a positive impact on our new and existing customers by helping organisations to unlock the value of Tool-Supported Systems Engineering.

For sales, services and technical enquiries:

Finally, may I thank our loyal customers, suppliers and other stakeholders for their valued interest and support to date.  We look forward to working with you in the future.
