SyntheSys becomes a member of the North East of England Process Industry Cluster

The North East of England Process Industry Cluster (NEPIC) is a networking organisation that represents the largest cluster of process, chemical and energy companies in the United Kingdom (UK) and we are pleased to confirm our membership with the organisation.

NEPIC exists to ensure industry in the North East region thrives – and that there are investments, innovations and a network that will create jobs and opportunities long into the future.

We are proud to be members of NEPIC and are confident that our membership will bring us closer to the manufacturing and engineering communities in the local area.  For more information about NEPIC, visit: https://www.nepic.co.uk/

Looking forward to the North East Automotive Alliance Meet the Buyer Virtual Event

We are thrilled to be participating in the upcoming North East Automotive Alliance (NEAA) Virtual Meet the Buyer event, which is a one-day event taking place on Thursday 24th February 2021.

The event will look to connect buyers and suppliers in the areas of plant support, plant technology and business services.  The event will also host a Technology Showcase aimed at supporting plant innovation in the region.  The showcase will feature technology that can support low-cost automation, energy, industry 4.0 and COVID recovery.

Managing Director, John S Hartas will be joined by colleagues from SyntheSys Technologies, Mark Williamson and Matt Muller, to meet with the North East of England’s Automotive Community.

‘’Our interactions with NEAA have been of huge significance in terms of expanding our footprint in our local automotive market, whilst at the same time, understanding more about this fast moving and complex sector.  The Meet the Buyer event is yet another invaluable opportunity for organisations looking to expand to make meaningful connections.  We are very much looking forward to the event.’’

SyntheSys Maintains ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Certification

After a recent audit, we are thrilled to announce that we continue to maintain our ISO 9001:2015 quality certification after demonstrating that our quality management systems and procedures meet the requirements outlined in the standard.

The ongoing certification was commissioned by the Global Certification Body, National Quality Assurance (NQA), which is an independent provider of certification services.

ISO 9001 is a quality management system standard which helps organisations ensure that they meet the needs of customers and other stakeholders, whilst meeting statutory and regulatory requirements related to products or programmes.  Its general objective is to improve quality and we are continually committed to meeting the requirements of the certification.

Jacqui Readman, who led the certification audit commented:

‘’Whilst this certification is widely recognised as de-facto standard in many different sectors, we certainly do not take this achievement lightly.  As an SME working across several industries, it’s vital that we have one common quality management procedure implemented.  This ensures that customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders receive the same, high quality service from us.  The processes and procedures required to achieve certification also ensure our staff have confidence in work produced, in the knowledge that they supported via effective quality practices.’’
