SyntheSys Maintains IBM® Gold Business Partner Status

Two years ago, we announced that we had achieved the prestigious ‘Gold’ partner status through the IBM® business partner certification programme and today we are thrilled to announce that we continue to maintain our IBM® Gold Business Partner Status.

Achieving the Gold Status is no mean feat and is something we are extremely proud of, having gone through a series of stages and assessments: to demonstrate our expert knowledge of IBM® tools; to confirm the satisfaction of our IBM® licence customers; and to demonstrate our ability to reach new customers.

We are expert providers of IBM® Engineering Lifecycle Management tools and have been using the powerful toolset as part of our Collaborative Engineering Management offering, which describes SyntheSys' approach to Engineering Management with expert personnel, process advice and tool support.  We have helped many organisations increase their competitiveness through advice on processes, training and the introduction of software tools.

For more information about the work we have been doing with a range of engineering organisations in industries such as aerospace, defence, automotive, transportation and energy please visit: www.synthesys-technologies.co.uk or call: +44 (0) 1947 821464.

Webinar Invitation for those Working in the Travel and Transportation Industry

SyntheSys and IBM® are helping teams effectively manage the complexities of developing smart, connected products by using powerful tools to enhance and support the systems and software development life cycle. In the cloud or on-premises, IBM Watson Internet of Things (IBM Watson IoT™) solutions help Systems Engineers and Software Developers to deliver against requirements, respond efficiently to change and create high-quality designs faster - all whilst controlling development costs and meeting compliance needs.

We are thrilled to be collaborating with IBM® to deliver a 1-hour technical webinar which will give delegates an overview of the toolset whilst informing on best practices for the industry. This webinar presents the case around why and how organisations should manage requirements, govern change and test extensively when developing smart products.

Engineers from all functional disciplines, including Senior Managers, Project Managers and team members will find this webinar useful. Those developing complex products (including software) and services within the Travel & Transportation industry will benefit from understanding the tools.

Matt Gains DOORS Next Generation IBM Technical Certification

SyntheSys is an IBM 'Silver' Business Partner, providing resell of IBM Watson Internet of Things (IoT) software solutions, and delivery of supporting services to IBM clients.

IBM have a certification process in place that recognises technical competence in their software solutions.  SyntheSys Technical Consultant Matt Mendell has been examined and certified on the DOORS Next Generation (NG) solution, providing confirmation of his abilities and competence to deliver advice and consultancy on the solution.

Following a period of study and on the basis of regular delivery of consultancy for DOORS NG, Matt was confident that certification would be a recognisable benefit to both his personal development and to SyntheSys’ ability to provide services and support to clients.  He said: “It also demonstrates expertise in requirements management principles and in understanding the way in which DOORS NG is used in requirements management for System Engineering and software development.”
