SyntheSys delivers TDL Network Design Station (TNDS) Training with HP

SyntheSys is pleased to announce the delivery of TNDS training to both the UK Joint Data Link Management Organisation and Finnish Air Force personnel. The 5 day course centered on TNDS operating procedures and its associated planning tool. Synthesys and HP fully recognise the merits of providing personnel with the operational knowledge to assist in improved use of TNDS. Consequently, the training course was balanced to provide both the operational and technical aspects of how to employ the tool more effectively. This was positively endorsed by all students.

SyntheSys & IBM Rational

Optimise your Software and Systems Engineering development

As a Systems Engineering Company providing services to the defence industry for over twenty years, we know a thing or two about the difficulties of managing projects and developing solutions in highly regulated industries. The current economic climate has stressed the imperative that this development work needs to be carried out smarter and more efficiently, regardless of the domain.

SyntheSys have been using a number of solutions from the Rational portfolio for many years and have accrued expertise in the delivery, implementation and support of these solutions within our own business and are in a position now to offer support to others in the procurement and utilisation of these solutions. We are an IBM Advanced Business Partner and certified to both resell and provide value add technical support.

I regularly speak with development teams who are completely unaware of the capabilities of IBM Rational within both software development and systems engineering and are delighted to find that there are tools out there that ultimately designed to make the job easier. Inevitably the focus turns to cost and often it is a case of "Can we afford not to embrace current technology to optimise the business process?"

The Rational toolset supports the entire engineering lifecycle from requirements definition through design, implementation and test. All underpinned by collaborative lifecycle management with change control and planning. SyntheSys will be presenting a webinar on 23rd May to provide a high level overview of these capabilities. Registration for this event is at http://bit.ly/15RrDj9. I hope that you will join me for this peek at the current capabilities and how they may accelerate and optimise your development environments, either in software or in systems domains.

For background information on the capability areas check out our website, where there are a number of white papers and videos for your consideration.
