We would like to publicly extend our congratulations to our IT Lead, Luke McCarthy, on recently completing his Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Computing and IT (Software).

Luke joined SyntheSys in 2016 and instantly made a huge impact. Since then, through hard work and study, he has developed through various roles and now leads SyntheSys’ IT function.

Alongside his full-time role, Luke has been tenaciously studying via the Open University to achieve this prestigious degree.

Following the huge success of the June 2023 Future Forward User Event, SyntheSys Technologies extends an invitation to the next iteration of the IBM® Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM) user event.

It’s a Wrap – The IBM® Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM) Community Collaborates for SyntheSys Technologies’ Hosted User Day


On 15th June 2023 at the IBM® Innovation Centre, London, SyntheSys Technologies hosted a successful day of collaboration for ELM users which we we hope resulted in valuable insights, networking opportunities, and enhanced understanding of ELM systems for attendees.

We had a day packed with all things ELM whereby users learnt about product roadmaps, Model-Based Systems Engineering as facilitated by Rhapsody®, user stories and Global Configuration.

Steve Hartas of SyntheSys Confirmed as STEM Ambassador

 



We are proud to announce that Steve Hartas, has been confirmed as a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) Ambassador.


STEM Ambassadors are volunteers from various STEM-related fields who aim to inspire young people to pursue careers in these fields.  They work with schools, colleges, and youth organisations to provide guidance, support and encouragement to young people and teachers.

Steve has been actively involved in STEM outreach for several years and his role as a STEM Ambassador reflects his passion for inspiring young people to explore STEM subjects.  Through his work at SyntheSys and as a STEM Ambassador, Steve hopes to encourage more young people to consider careers in STEM-related fields, which are crucial for the future growth and development of our economy.

Sharing a wealth of experience to encourage young people towards a career in STEM fields




SyntheSys is proud to announce that its Managing Director, John Hartas, has been enrolled as a STEM Ambassador.

STEM Ambassadors are volunteers from a range of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) careers who are dedicated to inspiring young people to pursue careers in these fields.  The STEM Ambassador programme is run by STEM Learning, a non-profit organisation that promotes STEM education and careers across the UK.

As a STEM Ambassador, John will have the opportunity to share his expertise and experience with young people in schools and other educational settings.  He will be able to inspire and motivate students to consider pursuing careers in STEM fields, which are critical to the future of the United Kingdom (UK) economy.

"I am delighted to have been established as a STEM Ambassador and to have the opportunity to inspire young people to pursue careers in STEM," said John.  "At SyntheSys, we have a long history of supporting STEM education and careers and we are committed to investing in the next generation of STEM professionals.  I look forward to sharing my passion for these fields with students across the UK."
